Here are a few other delicious goodies that are easy to make but sure to be a hit.
Chocolate Caramel Fondue
- 3 (1 oz.) squares of unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 1 (14 oz.) can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 ¼ oz.) of caramel ice cream topping
1. In a medium saucepan combine chocolate, sweetened
condensed milk and caramel topping.
2. Cook and stir over low heat until chocolate melts.
3. Transfer to a fondue pot to keep warm.
Some great dippers for this fondue are cookies, fruit slices, berries, pound cake,
angel food cake and dried fruit.
Salsa Wraps
- 1 package of cream cheese
- 1 (16 oz.) jar of chunky salsa
- 10 (10 inch) flour tortillas
1. In a medium bowl, use a mixer to smooth the cream cheese.
Pour in the salsa 1 tbsp. at a time while continuing to mix.
Continue adding salsa and mixing until the ingredients have
attained a spreadable consistency.
2. Spread the mixture on the flour tortillas. Roll the tortillas
and slice them into bite sized pieces. Refrigerate until
serving.
Butterscotch Fruit Dip
- 1 package of cream cheese
- ¼ cup of butterscotch sundae sauce
- 1 tbsp. of packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
Combine in a small bowl and mix until smooth. Chill and serve with fruit.
Pineapple Cream Cheese Ball
- 2 boxes of cream cheese
- 9 oz. crushed pineapple, drained
- 2 tbsp. of onion
- 2 tbsp. of green pepper
- 1 cup of crushed nuts
1. Mix and refrigerate overnight.
2. Form into a ball and roll in crushed nuts.
Serve with crackers.
